The weather was kind, views stunning and everyone enjoyed the event so it will be an annual oneyes

Overall winners on the day were Peter Mooney (65' 09") just ahead of Liam Dunne (65' 20") and Finbar Kirwan (66' 52").

In ladies race Eilis Connery (72' 38") had a hard fought victory over Mary Hanley (73' 31") and Mags Greenan (77' 26").

Thanks in particular to our marshals on the day for their time and efforts and to Basecamp of Middle Abbey St and Crannmor Pottery for their generous sponsors of event prizes, clothing and pottery respectively. 

The next Glendalough Trail Event will take place on Saturday 5th November 2011 - entries now open

Minimum fundraising target will remain at €50 which we think is easily achievable and not too onerous.
